My name is Emily Mills, and I am a Nurse Practitioner at Atrium One Health Family Practice in Rural Hall. Most of my nursing experience was obtained in the operating room as both a circulating and scrub nurse. After a few years, I decided to go to NP school to provide more in depth and continuous care to patients. I graduated from Indiana State University’s Family Nurse Practitioner program in May of 2022 with a master’s in nursing. Shortly after, I started my career at Atrium One Health Family Practice and gained experience as a nurse before transferring to the NP role. I have enjoyed being a team member at Atrium One Health Family Practice and participating in individualized, patient-centered care. In my spare time, I love to bake, go for outdoor runs, and spend time with my family and friends.

I am a NCCPA Board Certified Physician Assistant. I obtained my undergraduate degree at Virginia Tech and then my Master’s in Physician Assistant studies from Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Virginia where I am originally from. I have previous experience in Family medicine and psychiatry. I enjoy family medicine because of the relationships you get to build with your patients. I also enjoy that family medicine allows you to treat a broad spectrum of ages and complaints. In my spare time I enjoy being active and spending time with my family and pets.

Dr. Oliver is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN).
He received his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia and completed residency at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center.
Dr. Oliver has 2 grown children. When he’s not working, he enjoys woodworking, copper metalworking, hiking and playing the traditional banjo. He is also a history buff.
