Courtney Hovestadt
PA
Emergency Medicine – Link Landing
Hofstra University
Emergency Medicine

“I chose to practice in urgent care because no two days are ever the same. Because PAs are educated and trained in various medical specialties, it was important to me to choose a field where I could work with a diverse patient population and treat a variety of medical conditions. Every day in urgent care provides the potential for professional growth and learning that can better equip me to serve my community.”
Courtney Hovestadt is a board-certified physician assistant who specializes in treating patients in urgent care settings.
Hovestadt’s greatest goal and motivating factor is to improve health care accessibility in her community. She feels it is an incredible privilege to work as an extension of her primary care and emergency room colleagues to help bridge the health care gap when patients are in need.
Hovestadt received her master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Hofstra University.
The mountains are her happy place, where she loves skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer with her husband. She has been a distance runner for most of her life, so she often can be found training for her next race or curled up with a good mystery novel if she is taking some time to rest.

Hannah Smith
MD
Family Medicine – Rural Hall
Family Medicine

Dr. Hannah Smith is a board-certified family physician in Rural Hall, North Carolina. She was born and raised in Ohio, where she received her undergraduate degree at Ohio University and medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine. As many Ohioans have been known to do, she moved to North Carolina and this is where she completed her family medicine residency at Wake Forest University Baptist Hospital. Dr. Smith enjoys serving patients of all ages and finds the most meaningful aspect of her job to be the relationships she forms with her patients, which she hopes will be long-term. She loves primary care for its variety, but does have special clinical interests in women’s health, geriatrics, preventative health, chronic disease management, and mental health. Dr. Smith also enjoys her time outside of the office, which always involves some type of exercise, sprinkled in with gardening, cooking, reading, hiking, hanging with her fur babies, or making memories with friends and family.
